Reports suggest that Ayan was forced under threat of death to record the video, which was later leaked and swiftly went viral on social media.

This incident underscores the pervasive mistreatment and violence faced by the transgender community in Pakistan. Ayan’s challenges are unfortunately not new; she was also targeted in a shooting incident in 2022, a testament to the relentless dangers transgender people confront daily.
