Hunger Pangs: When There's No Alternative

Spreading Sunshine: A Journey of Kindness

Why Hitler was kind to Dr Bloch

Though the world kindness does not suit to Hitler

When Nazi Germany was annexing Austria, Jews got targeted by Hitler. Dr. Eduard Bloch who was a Jewish also trapped there. Dr. Eduard Bloch  wrote to Hitler to save his life as he was aquanted by Hitler. Hitler excluded his name from the list who were going to be targeted and even ordered the SS to protect him.

Why  Hitler was kind him?

When Hitler was a young boy, he did belong to a poor family. When Hitler got such in his childhood and he was treated by Dr. Bloch. Doctor visits were expensive at that time. Dr. Bloch went out of his way to helping Hitler and his family. Dr Bloch gave free treatments and sometimes charged them much less than any other doctor of the time. When Hitler’s mother was diagnosed breast cancer and was dying, Dr. Bloch did everything he can to save her life. Hitler was very grateful to Dr Bloch for this act of kindness.

On the order of Adolf Hitler, the SS protected him and also allowed him to keep his money when fleeing away from Austria. Hitler named him and considered him "The Noble Jew".

Hitler used to love children. One child he very much loved was Rosa Nienau but she had Jewish heritage, but that didn’t stop Hitler from having contact with her.

He did regularly invite her and her family to the Berghof for tea. She used to  write to him and referred to him as Uncle Hitler. Eventually, Hitler stopped seeing her as she was Jewish. Luckily she and her family did not suffer from the Holocaust. However; she died of Polio in 1943. She was only 17.

Hitler hated Jews for unknown reasons but he showed kindness to certain jews. On the other hand it is  surprising as we know that Adolf Hitler went on  killing about 6 million Jews throughout Europe, starting the Holocaust in 1941.

This doesn’t excuse him from his crimes committed, but these are surprising.
